Curating Human Remains

As a conservator working with human remains I am very concerned with respect, care and access.

How are the remains stored? How are they treated? Are they accessible? From these questions I improve and adapt the care in a Museum context to facilitate research, teaching, handling and use.

Accessibility is the key, if collections are not accessible, why do we store and keep them? Secondly, another key word for me is respect. Working with human remains have always made me feel privileged and honored.
